What is Your Time Worth?
Do you make more money generating sales, or processing paperwork? When you’re starting a business, you often do both. But as your business grows, you need to recognize the point when handing off your bookkeeping becomes more profitable than doing it yourself.
Until then, you need to minimize your bookkeeping time so you can maximize your selling time.
Today’s small business owners juggle everything: marketing, operations, customer service, and production — plus the administrative work that keeps the business compliant. Bookkeeping, payroll, GST/HST filing, reviewing financial statements, preparing for year-end, submitting T4s, and completing WCB annual returns… it’s a lot.
QuickBooks Online can help with so much of this — but only if you know how to use it correctly.
Otherwise, you risk:
- Duplicate entries
- “Phantom sales” that you pay tax on
- Missing GST/HST you’re entitled to
- Claiming credits you shouldn’t (and triggering an audit)
- Making decisions based on inaccurate information
- Paying extra in income tax and higher year-end accounting fees
When you understand how QuickBooks Online works — along with basic bookkeeping fundamentals and government rules — you gain reliable financial statements you can actually trust.
What’s also important: you must learn to see what’s happening behind the scenes inside today’s accounting software. That’s exactly what our QBO bookkeeping courses teach you.
This weekend bootcamp gives you the first essential steps toward mastering the basics of QuickBooks Online — and the bookkeeping foundations behind it.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need any bookkeeping or QuickBooks experience?
No. This bootcamp is designed for beginners and for long-time QuickBooks users who still feel uncertain, stuck, or overwhelmed. You’ll learn the basics the right way — and finally understand what’s happening behind the scenes.
What is the refund policy?
Refunds are available up to 3 days before the event. If you attend the event, and do not like it by noon of the first (1st) day you can ask for a full refund. However, you will lose access to the items in your package. Refunds will be paid automatically, or by e-transfer or cheque within 5 business days.
When will I receive my free QBO Plus trial subscription?
You will receive your free QBO Plus, 1 year trial subscription a couple of days before the bootcamp. We do this to ensure you have access to the file before the bootcamp starts. It is important that you follow the Pre-Bootcamp instructions that you will receive with the software. And yes, you can use it after the bootcamp.
Will I learn about Inventory, creating customer estimates, and project costing?
No, this Level 1 course focuses on the basics every business needs to know. However Level 2 will focus on more advanced topics such as inventory, estimates & sales orders, project costing, customizing invoices, allowing customers to use the "Review & pay" option, and more.
I already have a QuickBooks subscription, can I use this one?
No, if you already have a QBO account or subscription, you will need a new email account for the QBO Plus trial version. You can create a new Gmail account or use another email account. It cannot be the same as your current login for QBO.
